A Brave New World in Your Pocket.
Modern Technology and E-learning: Mobile Devices.
In my project I would like to concentrate on using handheld devices from the teacher's perspective in distance learning context. Namely, on what devices are available and which of them offer better teaching experience? What applications are available and what kind of content can be created with them? How can mobile devices improve or hinder synchronous and asynchronous communication with students? And lastly, I am interested in standardisation of extensions used on mobile devices. What applications offer the best integration of content? How many apps does a teacher need for creating, editing and sharing study materials in text, image, audio and video formats? How can their number be minimised? How transferable is the content from mobile devices to desktop/laptop computers?
And possibly, how to integrate the mobile/tablet-created content into a LMS, such as Moodle?
And possibly, how to integrate the mobile/tablet-created content into a LMS, such as Moodle?
